Summary0001216: [Smart3][BTF] Screen is not working properly when switching to portrait mode
DescriptionHi Kerwin

Android 9 tvstorm model is operating normally when set to portrait mode. ( android_9_tvstorm_portrait.jpg )
But Android 10 Smart3 BTF model doesn't work normally when set to portrait mode. ( android_10_smart3_btf_portrait.jpg )

SKB used the Android API below.
setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_PORTRAIT);

Please check this issue.

Hi Mr. YK Jung,

It looks like portrait mode is not supported by AML Android 10 BSP.
What is the application on Smart3 ?
Is this a request from SKB ?
If yes, then I think this request should be passed to AML.
I think there may be a lot of module to be changed.

Hi Mr. YK Jung,

There is no portrait mode test for Smart3 CTS.
For Smart3, we claim "Landscape" in /etc/permissions/tv_core_hardware.xml file.
Please check attached CDD document.
